Touch-A-Truck – Champion Public Library
Join us at Champion Public Library on Saturday, May 20th from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. for our Touch-A-Truck event! This family-friendly event provides children of all ages the experience of viewing life-sized vehicles and the opportunity to interact with community leaders such as police officers, firemen, construction workers, and more. Vehicles featured at this event will be from the Ardmore Fire Department, Ardmore Police Department, and Southern Oklahoma Ambulance Service, OG&E, SORD, ONG, Warren Cat Equipment to name a few. The Carter County Health Department will also be at our event doing free sports physicals. This outdoor event is free and open to the public.

Balance and Strength Exercise Class – Champion Public Library
Looking for an easy exercise to help develop balance and strength but don’t know where to start? Join the Champion Public Library to practice exercises that improve everyday life with instructor Susan Cowlbeck. This 10-session class will be held on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 2:00 PM. Classes begin Tuesday, May 16th, and will continue through Thursday, June 15th. Participants are encouraged to register early; class size is limited.
Champion Public Library is offering this program as part of a health literacy grant from the Oklahoma Department of Libraries (ODL). The program is funded in part by the Institute of Museum and Library Services.
