Project STEM: Experiments in Mechanical Engineering – Atoka County Library
Are you curious about how wind tunnels, pneumatic shocks, and hydraulic lifts work? Join Atoka County Library for Project STEM, a program designed to provide a space for young patrons to explore the principles of mechanical engineering and physics through hands-on experiments. This program will be held at the Atoka County Library on Monday, May 15th at 4:00 PM. Children will be able to build, design, and test their own devices and gadgets in the Physics Pro STEM Experiment kits. Along with the experiments, participants will be encouraged to think critically and develop problem-solving skills. Children ages 10 and up are welcome to attend. Class size is limited, and reservations are encouraged. All supplies will be provided by the library.
