Structural Engineering: Bridges & Skyscrapers
Do you ever wonder how bridges span huge distances and how skyscrapers stay standing? Join Wilson Public Library for Project STEM, a program designed to provide a space for young patrons to explore the basic principle of mechanical physics or structural engineering in a hands-on way. This program will be held at the Wilson Public Library on Thursday, May 25th at 4:00 PM. Children will learn the basics of structural engineering by conducting a series of model-building experiments. For kids ages 8 to 14. Call to sign up, supplies are limited.

For Adults 18 and Up
Pantry meals are a great way to stretch your grocery budget further. Join the Wilson Public Library on Thursday, June 1st at 4:00 PM to learn how to stock your pantry and use it more efficiently to help your family stay healthy. A few recipes featured in the program are an easy salsa, perfect as a snack or an easy side dish for taco night, and a variety of soups that can be a staple for healthy easy meals.

1,000 Books Before Kindergarten

It's Simple! One Day, One Book!
Sign up your infant, toddler or preschooler then earn rewards. Prizes will be given for each 100 books read and when 1,000 books goal has been reached, participants will receive a T-shirt.
