U.S. Citizenship Class
For U.S. Naturalization Certification
The Love County Library is hosting free U.S. Citizenship classes beginning on Tuesday, January 17th, and will continue through Thursday, May 25th. Classes will be on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 5:30 – 7:00 PM and are for adults 18 and up.
Free and Open to the Public
Bring your family and friends to Love County Library’s Summer Reading Kick Off Party on Saturday, May 27th from 3:00 to 4:00 PM at the Memorial Park Splash Pad, 203 3rd Ave, Marietta, OK. Participants will enjoy music, games, fun, and foam with Lucky’s Foam Factory!
For Kids in Grades 4th - 7th
The Love County Library is continuing the book club for middle schoolers on Wednesday, May 31st at 4:00 PM. For the month of May, young readers will share views on this thrilling and suspenseful book “The Darkdeep” by Ally Condie. Youth in 4th grade through 7th grade are welcome to attend.
DIY Sugar Scrub Craft Class
For All Ages
Summer is almost here which means hot summer days. What better way to prepare than creating a sugar scrub at Love County Library. On Friday, June 2nd at 3:00 PM, patrons of all ages can make their very own natural sugar scrub. Sugar scrubs are mild and help remove dead skin. This also helps rejuvenate the skin by cleaning all the dirt from the skin's pores making skin healthier and radiant. Perfect for self-care or as a gift. All ages are welcome to attend.
Summer Book Stacks Craft Class
For Adults 18 and Up
Are you looking for a fun and creative way to spend your summer days? The Love County Library has just the thing for you! Join us for our Summer Book Stacks craft class for adults on Saturday, June 10th starting at 1:00 PM. This class is perfect for our community to showcase their artistic side and create summer-themed book stacks with stamps. So come on down to the Love County Library and get crafting! Supplies provided by the library.
Book Club
For Adults 18 and Up
Join others at the Love County Library for a monthly book club at 1:00 PM on Tuesday, June 13th. Conversation, fellowship, and refreshments will be centered on popular book titles for adults to discuss. Participants will share views on Alex Michaelides’ “The Silent Patient”.
Creativity On The Go
Look for an after-school activity to do at home? Want to spend more family time but can’t seem to find something to fit in with all the extra children’s activities? Each month will feature a different craft for families to participate in and will be available during business hours while supplies last. Kit supplies will be provided by the library. Technology Sessions

Got a new phone or tablet but not sure how to use it? Unsure how to set up an email or social media account? Need a lesson in computer 101? Starting in December, the Love County Library will offer a one-on-one technology session for patrons. Each session is for one-hour maximum. This program is by appointment only.
