Attracting Pollinators
Free and Open to the Public
The Johnston County Library presents “Attracting Pollinators” on Monday, May 15th at 6:30 PM. This program will be held at the Tishomingo National Wildlife Refuge, 11766 South Refuge Road, Tishomingo, OK. Amanda Cox of the OSU Extension Service will cover a brief overview of the importance of pollinators, who they are, and what attracts them to the landscapes and gardens. Park Ranger Allison Newberg will also share information about the park and the different areas that have been curated for pollinators. All ages are welcome to attend.
3D Printing Class
For All Ages
Ever wondered how 3D printing works? Want to see it in action? Come learn the basics of 3D printing at the Johnston County Library on Tuesday, May 16th at 3:00 PM. This program is for all ages, but registration is required. Guests who do register early will get to print a 3D object of their choosing.
Book Club
For Adults 18 and Up
Engage in a book discussion with the Johnston County Library at 6:30 PM, Thursday, June 1st. Conversation, fellowship, and refreshments will be centered on popular book titles for adults to discuss. Participants will share views on Doug Stanton’s “12 Strong”. Refreshments will be provided by the Friends of the Johnston County Library.
