Balance and Strength Exercise Class
For Adults
Looking for an easy exercise to help develop balance and strength but don’t know where to start? Join the Champion Public Library to practice exercises that improve everyday life with instructor Susan Cowlbeck. This 10-session class will be held on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 2:00 PM. Classes begin Tuesday, May 16th, and will continue through Thursday, June 15th. Call to sign up, space is limited.
Teen Anime Watch Party
For Teens Ages 13 to 17
Teens, do you love anime, or are curious about what anime is? Come join Champion Public Library for a fun evening of anime on Thursday, May 25th at 5:30 PM! Guests will vote on two popular anime series we watch and talk about them. At the end of the program, everyone will vote on which anime was the best. Bring yourself and some friends for a fun anime-watch party! Teens between the ages of 13 to 17 are welcome to attend.
Touch-A-Truck
Free and Open to the Public
Join us at Champion Public Library on Saturday, May 20th from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. for our Touch-A-Truck event! This family-friendly event provides children of all ages the experience of viewing life-sized vehicles and the opportunity to interact with community leaders such as police officers, firemen, construction workers, and more. Vehicles featured at this event will be from the Ardmore Fire Department, Ardmore Police Department, and Southern Oklahoma Ambulance Service to name a few.
Summer Reading Kick Off Party

Bring your family and friends to the Champion Public Library for a Summer Reading Kick Off Party on Saturday, May 27th from 1:00 to 2:00 PM. Participants will enjoy music, games, fun, and foam with Lucky’s Foam Factory!
National Senior Health & Fitness Day
For Senior Citizens
Join the Champion Public Library on Wednesday, May 31st at 3:30 PM for tips on how to cook healthy meals for one person, make your own air freshener and sugar scrub, and learn quick warm-up exercises to do before walking. This program is in conjunction with the National Senior Health & Fitness Day.
Book Club
For Adults
Join others at the Champion Public Library for a monthly book club on Thursday, June 1st at 5:30 PM. Conversation, fellowship, and refreshments will be centered on popular book titles for adults to discuss. This month’s book, “The Extraordinary Life of Sam Hell” by Robert Dugoni will be discussed.
LEGO Letterpress Printing
For Ages 13 and Up
Explore Legos like never before on Tuesday, June 6th at 5:30 PM at Champion Public Library. Participants will stack Lego bricks to create a stamp of their design that will be applied to paper. Lego creations can be pixel art, personalized message, and more. Don’t know what to make? Premade designs will be available for guests to use. Guests ages 13 and up are welcome to attend. All supplies will be provided by the library. Participants are encouraged to register early.
DIY Organic Bug Repellent
Families Welcomed
Summertime has begun! One downside of this beautiful, warm weather is the appearance of mosquitoes. Join Champion Public Library on Wednesday, June 7th at 5:30 PM on how to make safe and organic bug repellent that works without harmful ingredients. This class will also talk about what plants are best to plant to keep bugs away. Families are welcome to attend.
